had a little hickup on my part. I have never owned an fx and until recently there were sorta rare around here. now of course they are everydamnwhere!! I got some of my measurements wrong and we installed some stuff in the wrong spot, cut it out and reset it all.
This setup is laid out like this: motor, pto and pump are in the stock fx location. you would take the driveshaft and install it in the 144 pump and its done. what the original ski has is after we set that up he put the sj driveshaft in and fabbed a pump ring/spacer to set it back.
as of last weekend the bilge wall, motor mounts, cooling and trim tubes were installed. the rear of the hull just got cut back -6 and we will be fabbing up some hull extensions to make adjusting from stock to -6 and anywhere inbetween as simple as a few bolts.
