One of these days (years, lol) I'll get an aftermarket hull.
Then I'll make it look nice.

Besides, it looks decent from the outside.

Update: I finished water and fuel routing and have pulled the pump.
I removed the impeller with the help from local racer Tim (Superjet112x)
I need to send the impeller to Impros to get some rock dings fixed.
Now, all this time I thought I had a Skat Freeride Swirl 13/16. Turns out it's a 13/18
I'll need to call Art and get an opinion. Might need to get it repitched by Dave, as well.

Anyhow - Tim graciously lent me a Concord impeller while mine is getting fixed. Thanks Tim! :bigok:

Since I got my new coldwater wetsuit in the mail yesterday, I can go try my new engine tomorrow! :woot:
Water is 36 degrees, air should be around 40 and sunny.
I call that motivation to stay on the ski. :haha:

Tim's fun to watch, and always good for a chat.
One of these days I'll convince him to brave the sharks for a surf ride.

I will be getting about the same thing in a month or so.. minus the BB sleeves. I am only going to an 83mm bore for now. When I need a rebore, I am going up to bigbore sleeves.

Reeds: Not sure yet honestly. I have these rad valves I was using sitting here, but doubt I will use them.
Carbs: Current carbs, 44mm BJ's
Compression: 205-215, somewhere in there
Electrics: Single Channel Total Loss that I've been running for a while now

Is he building the whole motor for you?

I just got the pump installed and everything buttoned up.
I think it's about 30 degrees outside.

And by machine work, I mean porting as well, not only boring.

I might just go ahead and get the BB sleeves in there so I don't have to worry about it.

I still need to sort out a couple of miscellaneous things.
It is the smoothest & powerful motor that I have ever owned.
Great all-around power, all the way from bottom to mid-range (I have not been above midrange - still breaking in).
