Tom,

A couple other people on the board have gone this way, but I can't remember who. I did a Squarenose hull with this foam earlier in the year, but I sold it (and it's just sitting now).
I also sink my boats with regularity, but I didn't get enough run time this year for it to happen. :soapbox:
If I didn't have a nice Jetworks BigBore going into this ski, I'd sink it on purpose.
I have done that before.

I forgot!
me and a few guys i know all have, or still do run rigid foam, some guys used a little two part foam to fill the remaining voids but some of us also prefer to leave the voids to allow drainage. This year i ran no foam 1/2 season untill i had to perform a quick surgery to repair a oneway valve. while it was open i packed some blue dow foam in the one side. It is alot like the foam Matt used. maybe a little more rigid. I drain my hull after every ride. I like the setup, and will stuff some in the other side of my hull after daytona...maybe before. my ski didn't get waterlogged at all this season and still feels light in the tray area. the tray floats all jacked too. i ride flatwater almost all the time, in a river, so loosing my ski wasn't too much of a deal for me. It never sunk all season.
just my experience.

I had a couple hours time today, so I put the new Jetworks motor in and started water & fuel routing.

I got more work left to do. Yes, I know the bilge looks like ass.

My hoodseal needs some loving.

Oh, and YAY for drainplugs.

Heh, I was wondering if anyone would notice.

Yes, that's what it is. Do they make these in brass?
Never mind, it's probably part of the pump by now.

I've considered it a few times.
In the end, I am too lazy.
I don't care what it looks like. I plan on spending as little time as possible with the hood off the ski.

well, if you keep it clean it will minimize corrosion effect on the metal. do you ride in salt water a lot? salt water will kill aluminum, pits and whatnot.

sure, I think they do make them from brass.

was that a pump from an old square that had the siphon fitting going into the stator section?

No, I drilled & tapped it. I don't see any reason to change it now.
Maybe in another 2 years it will fall off.

sweet trailer matt!

It's a POS that eats tires. The frame is 80 inches wide BEFORE tires.
Holds 4 skis though.
I am looking to get rid of it for a single or small double.
