Yes CPT does great work! I was running this cylinder on my SJ 61x/61x single 46 and it was so crisp.

Tested the 12/17 skat yesterday and it bogged badly on the bottom and ran great mid-top range. I also changed the low jet from a 130 - 135 so going to try it again with the 130 jet and blowsion freestyle pump cone.

Oh you did pull the one stud out of the case for the ADA head why? I am going to run it as I have a 3 meter long chink of 10.x1.25 stainless all thread coming.
I replaced the grommets with Kawi 650 one's and bored them out to fit M10 hardware.
I have a new bracket mount for the chamber.
I have the same hump coupler you are using.

I hope this Coffman stays in one piece.

@VinnieMaxx
You really only need the girdle on the carb side of the cylinders. I also have a piece of all thread but it was a pain in the ass having to thread the lock nut on and off when taking the stud out. I haven't had any problems since switching to the hump coupler. Just make sure you follow the install instructions and shim under the mount where it bolts to the cases and tighten all of the bolts holding the mount on together.

The coffman is a thirsty pipe! I was at 135 Pilot, 165 Main and 11 PSI pop off. Call Protec and talk to Carl, he will be able to get you some jetting pointers with the half pipe.

New driveshaft
New CF midshaft
New SBT midshaft housing and bearings
Repitched impeller to 10/16 - 12/17 is too much for the 701.

Shout out to @Rdrttoy for hooking it up with great prices and quick shipping! =)

I did pull the girdle stud out of the case and just went with a normal fastener and have had no issues. On the Coffman pipe you do need to replace all the rubber grommet mounts with the Kawasaki ones and drill them out. I also used the same coupler as Quinc. I put about 30 hours on this set up last summer and fall with no issues. I also have the JET Maniac/Blue ported cylinder with an ADA head with 37cc chambers and this pulls real hard off the bottom. I GPS'ed at 50 MPH with a SOLAS 13/17 impeller.

I probably have 45ish gallons of gas and two weekends at Pismo on mine and the coupler on the pipe is still holding up great. :)

Edit: I do keep a spare with me just in case though...

Yea I have a second set of grommets made up a second coupler and a second mounting bracket just in case. I check this thing after each ride and it never moved. When I first got the blaster it would literally fall apart after 10 minutes. If you have an old Coffman Rocket pipe you need to replace everything as it is a 20 year old piece. And the Quinc coupler is the bomb it will make everything last so much longer as there is so much less vibration from the head to chamber. Ride for us frozen in the north Qunic RIDE!!!!!

Flywheel cover and bed plates are pink too. Ride plate doesn't hold paint very long. I might give the plate a quick polish instead. "Wifes" ski. Haha
