Finally got to watch Django unchained last night. I loved it but my wife was not impressed. Great show, great performances and very clever dialog. I laughed my ass off at the part about the white hoods.

The more I think about that movie it just isn't right.

I'm obviously getting older....I heard Gangster Squad was super good......I watched until the pulled the guy in to 2 pieces with cars and I was like...eh I'm good.

Quentin Tarantino is not right, and not by a long shot. I am not usually a fan but I do like Jamie Foxx so that went a long way. Christopher Waltz really sold it a well.

I think that's Quentin's genius or schtick or sickness (viewer dependent)...he bends the plot with strange turns, unexpected dialogue and quirky characters. The graphic content is a trip too. Some people dig it some think he's a weirdo freak. I dig on all his stuff.

Cloud Atlas - WTF? I must have missed something in the beginning because I was lost the entire movie.

Last Stand had a couple good lines. It wasn't a blockbuster but I did enjoy it all the same.

Snitch was okay too I guess.

It's hard to find a movie these days that really stands out and raises the bar. I find myself "liking" a lot of movies but not really "loving" any.

I have high hopes for Fast 6, Star Trek and Despicable Me 2, how sad is that.

Saw Fast 6, Star Trek, Iron man 3 and Superman over the last month or so.

Fast 6, if you can suspend all sense of reality, good movie

Star Trek, I thought it was great. I've always been a JJ Abrams fan, so good stuff for me (I have very high hopes for the new Star Wars movie)

Iron Man 3...... this one was tough, because I love the character Downey Jr has made, but I thought this movie sucked. Really let down

Superman, LOVED it. Yes, it gets a little long with the fight scenes, but still, thought the story was great and I am not one of these people who are bound to the comic books.

PS
I want to see Despicable Me 2 as well, the little yellow minuns crack me up!

I thought Ironman 3 was great.
Took my boys to watch Man of Steel last Friday and I thought it was great. The only negatives were unnecessarily drawn out CGI scenes. The characters and actors were excellent. Michael Shannon did a fantastic job playing Zod. It was also the first time in a LONG time that I'd seen Costner in anything. He did a great job as well.

Taking my kid to see Despicable Me 2.
Going to Star Trek II...heard nothing but good things. I liked Star Trek alot.

Man of Steel?? Doubt it...will wait for DVD.

I agree Matt, Michael Shannon was fantastic as Zod. Seriously, I really believe that guy is somewhat crazy in the head. Pretty much everyone in Man of Steal was cast perfect. I've never been much of a Russel Crow fan, but I thought he was great in MoS. and yes, Costner was awesome, too. Really liked that movie.

My biggest complaint with Iron Man 3 was there was very little Iron Man in it until the last scenes. Still, the special effects were pretty awesome.

Much like MoS, the villan in Star Trek made the movie for me, Benedit Cumberbatch was awesome!

Anyone interested in seeing World War Z? My wife has a zombie fetish, lol, so I am sure we will see that one soon.

Umm, that happens in the first 2 minutes of the movie...you should have watched further. I am not a fan of gangster movies but I thought it was great. James Brolin is fearless and sean Penn was perfect.
