So ill admit i didnt choose the nicest day here in Minnesota (-5F) to go out into an unheated shop and pull my pump assembly. What should have been a simple twenty minute job turned into two toe and face freezing hours that ended with me tying a rope around my pump, the other end to my trailer, and proceeding to slide my ski forward at mach 2 to yank out my insanely seized driveshaft....
So ive determined my bearings in the pump and midshaft are great, finally some good news... and the impeller looks new
i believe its from an 08 superjet?? It has 6BA stamped on the side.
Still havent started hull mods unfortunately, however i did start porting my cases. I started with doing gasket matching and did a little intake porting. Still lots to go as i was taking it easy. Something inherently creepy about taking chunks out of your crankcases for the first time lol.
