Hi guys, new to the forum. I reckon I can answer a few questions about this thing for u guys if u would like.
Im a test pilot for BRP, and have spent 1000+ hours on the new Spark. First thing I'll say is, if there was ever a sit down ski to buy, this is it. So simple, so light, and so much fun.
Be easy with the questions, there's a lot I'm not allowed to talk about due to confidentiality reasons, but as for questions on riding one, I'm your man.
Check out my first thread if u would like to learn a little about me first.
Am I the only one that watched this in disappointment that BRP, who owns Evinrude, who makes amazing clean burning awesome two strokes, is STILL on the stupid ass 4 stoke kick? I will admit it is a step in the right direction as for size and weight, it looked like it came out of the water nicely and all but this 4 stroke bull kills me.
I am with you EXACTLY. This is going to be slower than a 550. It is going to be REALLLLLLLLLLY SLOOOOOOOWWWW. Light, and small is good, but a 900cc 4stroke...you've got to be kidding me.
I can't possibly see buying one. If my wife wanted a couch, I would get an old Seadoo XP 800 2 stroke and fix it up.
