thanks Mark. yes those are revs with no enclosures on them. I really don't think the enclosures would have added much. they are easy to lock in as it is. I bought the enclosures with them I just don't like them.

ok this project is just about done for now. here is my bilge install. I bought a rubber boot from bass pro and I got the switch from orielys. I put some 5200 on in the boot and let it goo out when I screwed it on. then I covered every possible spot that water could leak on the whole switch. This is a very water proof switch. I have it tied to the handle bars with some black zip ties. its very solid.

I really have tried to give a finger throttle a fair chance. I just can't do it. I am tired of coming home not being able to move my nuckle. It cuts my riding time short every time I try to do it. I might give an aftermarket throttle a chance some time but I don't want to spend any more money on this right now.

Winter Project 2010

Last year I found some leaky crank seals and my compression was getting a little low so I am tearing the motor down and doing a few extra things.

Motor:
bore to 81.5
wiseco pistons
TW porting
replace front and rear crank bearings and seals
ADA girdle head with 35
port match bpipe manifold
MSD enhancer
replace falling apart k&n arrestors with new factory unit
carbon tech 202lt reeds

Hull and other stuff:
Light carbon reinforcing in engine bay (thanks to a sale at uscomposites)
replace pump bearing(s)
hooker impeller (have not decided on pitch yet)
clean up pipe so it doesn't look like some one puked on it
bleach, die, or replace fuel tank

I have the motor pulled and it is completely dissembled. Right now I am working on finding the cheapest prices on the parts I need and getting them ordered, finding the motivation to start cleaning out the nasty hull when it is 30 degrees in my garage and figuring out how to pretty up my bpipe.

well after a little more research it looks like I am going to end up sending my crank off to sbt. I could order new oem front and rear bearings for about 200 bucks, or get some cheaper stuff for about 120 or have the whole crank rebuilt for about 280.
