I feel like OUR feedback isn't going to help them at all. Of all the motorized watersports I think we are the least likely to purchase this slow, weak, ugly machine.

Give it a facelift somehow too.

I disagree. I think they are targeting people whom seldom visit a lake, or have space for a traditional ski and trailer. It seems like a novelty item to me.

That's who they're targeting. That's the problem. If you rarely went to the lake, you wouldn't go to get on that damn thing and get ran over by a Jon boat. People who rarely go to the lake, need a better reason to go than that. Plus the fact that it comes apart, is still useful to people with lake houses. Disassemble and store in the boat house without using a lift.
