First Ride Report
Okay so Tony emailed me thanks Tony for the fast response.
right so onto the important part the actually ride report as there are not many here.
ok lets start of with a few facts
1) im no pro
2) I suck at riding
3) its been 6 months since ive ridden a jetski
4) these views are my views and my views alone you may have different feedback but then you should do your report.
its been a battle trying to get my ski into our ride spot as they have become so strict on the standups but after some sweet talking we got in.
day started off on a rough footing with my epic cdi not liking my tbm flywheel after the tbm flash I need to manually set it up so that was annoying as I could hardly ride.
lucky I brought my oem cdi along just incase so we decided to quickly whip the epic out and toss the oem in.
ski ran 10000x better still alittle rich as you will hear in the video but we have tuned the carbs and its running so crisp, but it still didn't feel right it felt heavy like a tank so I go back to shore and jump off and my whole tray is under water ski is sinking whoop , we put it on the trailer and see water pouring out from around the exhaust so I think the sealant Tony put there has come off, no big deal lucky I put a drain plug , so I drain it and head back out.
I had the super long ride plate on and its far to long but I didn't want to cut it before I knew how she rode
but can say this it just wants to flip even with the long plate I managed to get a 50% flip in so I know with a shorter plate I can do it
the ski is stable at low speeds hi speeds gets alil sketchy but it is a tiny hull so its expected after all they not designed for wot use
the ski responds to the slightest pressure on your feet which I like gives me that surfer feel
the splash is pretty bad in rough water but tony said they will try make a nice splash guard for the v1's
but overall it is a great ski rides well it planes awesome and carves like a beast im happy but my back isn't lol

find everywere you have penetrations in the bulkhead and seal them up. Your Assuming Tony did this and well....... Take the time to double check, also seal around the exhaust outlet.

In regards to buying an AM hull. If you had to start all over again, what would you do differently?

White 5200 on the outside and black 5200 on the inside. Takes a while to dry but works great.

I sealed th bulkhead up good I just forgot to do the exaust on the outside ive made a alu seal with orings to seal it up
As to the question would I do this again Nope I dont think so haha
Recommend this hull to a friend yeah sure as long as its done right its a great hull woth very little effort to assemble

ski still leaking so i got fed up and shoved a hose pipe up the drain plug. and water was now pissing out from where the drive shaft goes thru the tunnel so guess that is where its going in yay and only way to seal that is to open the tray oh the JOYS
on a side note ive been battling with tbm and epic it just isnt going well. we tossed it into the test tank and dialed it in got its 80% better still need some tweaking on the map
here is some before and after shots after it got down and dirty in the tank we need to change the water sometime lol
it was fun washing all the oil off
rode today got a 3/4flip out and pulled a muscle in my neck yay
