Use pool hose for vent tubes. Most AM hulls have less room in pump tunnel so they have a lower tray and lower center of gravity. I had to grind the pump seal on my Freak to fit in there but I love how low profile the hull is. And how it handles so it was worth it IMO. I definitely couldn't clear an OEM trim ring with top pull

yes i was expecting the pump tunnel to be lower but i was also hoping i made my trim slim enough no biggy tho easy fix

i wont use pool tubes they get old and crack etc esp with the constant up and down of the pole

on monday i will go tothe hose company by my work and get i think they call it vacuum hose with the reinforcement so it doesnt collapse

hope to mount my pole etc tomorrow

then its the fun task of turfing im not looking forward to this

double triple quadruple check everything

and the statements oh you paid 2800$ well what do you expect that should not be the case at all and that how hull builders get away with this stuff

no matter if the hull costs 2800 or 28000 quality control should be done the same way there should be set standards like iso etc

I agree, turfing is always is a pain. I can't believe how well some of the members on this site can turf. Sounds like you should have it going shortly.

Turbo, ill admit your pic is funny, but you're being a dick. ProSouth says "don't be a dick."

I dunno what kind of pool hose you're thinking of Ian, but the stuff most of us use is fairly robust. I would think the vacuum hose, even reinforced would be inclined to kink.

Even my hoses that came with my x- metal pole the black ones, cracked after half a season.
Had some extra of the same hose, broke-cracked after a few rides.
I need some decent hose also.:)

I bought my XM pole used and those original tubes were destroyed. I've been running pool hose for a year with no signs of damage or cracking. Hose from a vacuum sounds like a good idea, its very limber but I don't know how it holds up to abuse, water, hot/cold temps, and chaffing from cables etc. but it's worth a shot.

Just buy the rrp hoses they are $20 for two 24" long pieces

Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I727 using Tapatalk

That defeats the object I was ment to be supplied them so why should I have to pay extra now?

Besides it will take over two weeks and shipping and custom chargers making it closer to 80/100 $ range

I will have a look at the pool hose as ive seen some with 2years guarantee pity they dont come in red tho

Still no advice where to drill the rear bow? Mr Tony?

I guess I can onky drill amd hope it doesnt go thru the cavity else I will have to glass it shut

I don't know why but I'm REALLY digging all the shapes on your hull. I didn't think I liked all the shapes at first and then the skis with graphics looked pretty sick but now the plain white gel with no graphics is looking pretty awesome! I didn't know if it was just a good angle or some photoshop when you first uncrated it but the shadows and different shades of colors on each shape was very cool looking and now I am seeing that in every pic. I also gave it some thought over time and in comparison to a Superjet which has weak sides that requires reinforcing to avoid cracks... all the angles on this hull will really stiffen it up and make it extremely rigid. I can't see ever cracking one of these hulls unless lawn darted into the sandbar hard! That top deck is thick too. Very cool man, I'm stoked for you.

It looks like the top deck is pretty beefy, nice to see. I almost like it better with out the stock graphics, just my opinion (I'm old). It's starting to take shape, looks good!

I never did buy into "It's a Rickter" copy. In person the hull shows well and has it's own persona. The bilge/engine bay is cavernous, room to work and not stuck having to run a PFP are definite plusses. Bottom deck design looks to be well thought out too.

Looking good dude. Also digging it without graphics, but I took the graphics off my bob... I like a simple color scheme.
