i still cant believe you have a 9 page build tread and dont have a ski.

:haha: :haha: Thats awesome  I have been busy enough with my end of the project, I hope Jeff is making some progress. I still can't get pics out of the man otherwise I would post something. He has it all primed now and needs to paint it still. I told him I wanted it in march otherwise no promises on making it to the May GA ride. Has to ship by the end of the week!!!

9 pages and all I produce is a kart tank and milled RIVA manifold

I am just estimating weights right now but I think there is a good chance the complete boat will weigh in at 230lbs  Maybe my scale is off but here is what I have so far on components:

Motor, electronics, carbs and exhaust are 78lbs
Pump (complete), rideplate and cables is about 15lbs
Tank and fuel pump 3lbs (I think it was barly registering)
battery 13lbs
pole 10.5lbs
bracket 5lbs
steering and bars 4lbs
estimated hull weight w/ hood 75lbs

estimated total dry weight 203.5lbs :boggled: I might be missing a couple of things but I don't think I am missing 30lbs of other stuff? I think it is a fair ball park estimate at 230 w/ a full tank of fuel. Any thoughts?

weight for

Waterbox
Exhuast
Scupper
mid shaft
intake grate
Turf
Paint

Still should be around 230 Dry I would say.

I am at 270lbs on a OEM hull..... I would say about 110lb-115lb hull and hood....

Thats about a 40lb difference from your hull and hood..... 230dry for your boat sounds pretty close...... my battery is 9lbs lighter  you may be closer to 240lbs :haha:

The bottom deck is about 35lbs w/ motor bed and no foam. Top deck is around 15lbs............hood will be about 8lbs.....factor in foam, the plumbing and the 5lb pole bracket and 75lbs complete is a fair estimate. But the weight of this boat will be very low. most of the mass is in on the bottom deck or positioned low in the ski. Should be interesting to ride.
