back from the dead, when you defoamed? what did you use to get the inside walls so clean? I'm using a wire brush but theres like a hard skin that doesn't want to clean off.

Use the wire wheel that is in the shape of a cup that attaches to your drill. It will clean house in no time.

i used a wire cup too... fit through scupper and exhaust holes with a little coaxing.

picked up these spade-bit extensions with nice dual set screws in one end that would lock down nice on the round shaft of the brush.

$1.99 at hd or so. 12" long each. stick a shop vac in an open access hole and you're set.

I am probably strange, but I kind of enjoyed the 2-1/2 defoamings I have done so far. :dunno:

Darin,

Why was the PVC left haning out the scupper?:dunno:

Didn't you seal it off prior to closing up the holds/deck?

I would think a plumbing service call is the worse job ever. I'd hate to snake some old ladies toilet that is full to the top with shi water.

you know if it's full and the plumber hasn't shown yet they'll shi in it again...

I'm just glad that I don't go on service calls any longer...:sneaky:

My service techs are going to have a tough weekend if the weather doesn't warm up---we've already had some minor freeze damage calls from last night's cold front and tonight is supposed to be worse.

I only know that because I have a lot of plumbers in the fam and I've been to a sevice call like that before. I didn't go inside and play with the brown stuff though...

It's happened a couple of times at my house that I go take a shi!, and then my wife hollers "Hey, the kids plugged up the toilet!". :crying:

Yeah. I wish you'd told me sooner, honey.

93% done.....

im to the point now where Im struggling with the "not fully expanded" part of the old foam....its almost like its soaked with resin!

the stuff is hard as a rock in some places and its just chewing the ******** out of my wire wheels.......

I will finish the de-foam tonite.....
