im willing to bet you never did either. all of the blaster hulls wammer made were made out of s-glass with carbon inserts. he never made a top deck.
r-pot made a carbon hull, hood and seat base but never a todeck

a friend from Guam raced a full carbon blaster in Havasu in 95 or 96, maybe it wasn't from Wammer then? I have pics of it somewhere (film) and remember he gained like 3-4mph just switching his driveline over to it. I always assumed it was from Wamilton and must be wrong.

i looked both boats over very well. Their were at least 10 rick roy fs1s there and i saw 3 q8's, but heard they were 4. The rick roys boats look very well built, espicially the ones in the xscream booth (nice work xscream). The carbon Rick roy hulls are beautiful. The malone hulls obviously preformed well but lack quality in the fit and finish areas. The turf, hood construction, decals, and hood strap are hideous> all the opinions are my own. The malone stuff had lots of rough edges. All the q8's i saw had the polaris 1105cc motor and i saw the polaris 1105cc motor in at least one fs-1

Great review. :Banane01:
Did you ride 1?

I looked over the boats as well.... The Rickter was very well made and the fit and finish was up to what you would expect. As for the EME boats... the hoods didn't line up w/ the boat contour. The hoods were all cracked up and the liner was separating on one of the show boats. I was not impressed w/ them at all. It was the riders that made that hull look good... Also, the EME boat would not run properly for the kid from mich. He would have been better off on his own boat.... I say EME looked marginal at best, while X-Metal and RRP owned it....

did not ride either. Would have loved to ride the roy ski. The malone ski was very very short. Lots of stuff going on between the builders, i heard baxter wasnt building motors for just malone anymore.

The FS-1 is one sexy ski! :Eyecrazy: I don't know how I feel about the nose being so short but, other than that, it looks ssaawweeeett!!! :bananalama:

I'm sure I missed it, but what's the powerplant?
EDIT: Just saw the 900cc xmetalworks stamp on it.

it is shaped that way so you can run around the boat. I saw exact pics of this boat and manufacturing and fittment are great. How many are produced yearly, or planned?
