Nor is he the first person to build his own cases.

Oh, years ago on pwctoday, maybe 2001 or so, during guest chat, Steve Lawler who use to work for Yamaha was the guest. I asked him was Yamaha ever going to put the 760 in a sj. His reply, most likely not, not really worth it, but the GP800 motor in a SJ was incredible. Guess what, they had guys in Germany who had already done this. Hell, Carmine Calangelo (SP), racer installed a GP 1100/1200 triple in his SJ.This was at least 6 years ago. This ski is now in Sweden.

Dude, who put the first 750 engine in a 550? Any clue? Who was first to put a 1100 Kawi engine in a 750SX?

You're missing the point. Jeff is not the first person to ever take a different engine and put it in a different hull. It's been done before. He's not the first person to build a billet cylinder. He's not the first person to build a hull from scratch and sell it.

Yes, he is innovative.

Take your blinders off.

you are talking 20 years ago... I'm talking about in the last 5 years...
I never said he was the only innovator in the sport, I just said he sparked innovation in our sport... forget it!!!!

I don't even know what a blount is... and everyone has shipping probs. now and then... I'm sure every hood you ordered took 4 months... yeah, ok...

Ask the people I ordered them for!!! Nevermind, I forgot, you know everything about everything and that is the end of the story. You are right and I am wrong. You were talkin out your azz and I proved you wrong and you cant take it.

What was this thread about........I can't remember.....Oh yeah, I think it was about the RRP hull. I actually had to look back at the topic description to remember.

I am really diggin the new RRP FS1, it's a little out there because it is soooo different, but, change can be good and the price vs weight loss numbers are pretty good.

30’ back flip???? What ever!!! I was there and saw the entire contest. The announcer obviously had no since of scale, I doubt he’s even seen a tape measure! He was calling the wind waves on the lake 3-4’ when they were actually 1’-18” The competitors were going hugh for flat water, I’m definitely giving them that, but the biggest I saw (which was off the double up 3’ boat wakes) was probably in the 15-18’ range.

i screwed up one of the ROK stillshots, dont feel like re-doing it

how can you guys compare the x-jet,rev and envey to to the laserjet !

these skis were bold moves on jeffs part when the rest of the world was still happy with superjet clones!

Am I the only one that finds it a little odd that the sales guys did not know the weight, only that the carbon was 20lbs lighter than the glass hull? Don't get me wrong, I am NOT being skeptical, just curious. I am extremely happy to see someone thinking/building outside the box. Jeff had the vision to think outside the box, just cant seem to get his act together to deliver it.

i think i was the sales guy you were talking too..i am not one of there salesman i am just a surf rider from there town that was helping several friends boths at the finals.. i think those weights a full posts back were a little high, i know though there are many lighter hulls even pas't own hulls are lighter.
remember this hull is multi-function surf and flat water:...i wonder with the rough waters they had if that hull was helping roc since the chop was so big :tomato: sorry if i do not know the real weight but i really do not:dunno:
i'll find out and post when they get back if no one else does

it was no where near 30ft...the announcer was pulling #s out of their asses...i was thinking how the people listening to the commentary online wernt really getting a good description of what was going on...every move was "ginormous" even if they were only getting 3/4 on a barrel roll...

agree.. the second flips cumming up short we anownced as a stab, or a sub?? come on both anouncers were blowing wind.. :barrel:

Wamilton (Blasters back in the mod rules days, ever see a full carbon Wammer Blaster, sick stuff),

im willing to bet you never did either. all of the blaster hulls wammer made were made out of s-glass with carbon inserts. he never made a top deck.
r-pot made a carbon hull, hood and seat base but never a todeck
