Unless there is a lot more to the story than what we are hearing, why would the FBI get involved in the theft of a ski? It's not like this is a kidnapping or matter of national security. Not questioning any one's credibility, but something just doesn't sound right.

From what I understand, it's crossed state lines, and there are two other skis that I've been made aware of that are in the same situation that I'm in with the exact same dealer.
We've got the sneaking suspicion that they are all headed over seas.

Taking skis on consignment, selling them, collecting the cash, then never paying the original owner for them.
