Wasn't laziness for me...it was definitely frustration and failure. I have loads of motivation as long as I'm succeeding regularly. When everything goes wrong, I'm not really interested in going through that again.

My work does not allow me to fail (or i don't get paid!) This rolls over into my personal projects too.

Couple of pics.First one is engine compartment minus the batt and the second is the pump where l flipped the mid section 180 degrees and lined up the cooling lines coming out of the hull with the fittings on the pump.

Where did you get the spring for your trim? and is your battery going to the right of your tank? Im in a slump about battery location.

lt is an xscream trim system.

Yea,the battery box is to the right of the tank. There really was no where else to put it.l tried to put a battery in it today with no luck.lt is just like 3/16 too big on one corner.l used to have a slim sealed battery for a total loss system in another ski.so l'm going to try to find another one.

You know iam just messin....everythings looking great....

I used a worker brand sealed battery, that's about half as thick as a standard battery... most battery stores carry em.

Yea,l know! Told the wife what you said and now about every 10 min or so "Are you scared!"

And thanks for the tip on the batt! Man,flippin that mid section of the pump, lined her right up

im going to need a real slim battery too. I might end up putting my battery where you have it. Thats a good idea on your tank straps. I just have two inserts (one strap) going from the left of the tank to the right. I hope thats enough.

If youj can get two straps holding the tank I would recommend it. That's a lot of weight bouncing around. Plus you have to pull the motor to pull the tank.

Dang, because of where I put my gas tank inserts I wont be able to put my battery where yours is. Ill have to put it next the the midshaft kind of down one of the gunwhales. Im not sure how easily accessable it will be with the engine\pipe in though.

You may be able to squeeze it in by the mid shaft.lf you are running 1 carb it may work. But you could move your inserts around to a different place at this point.Like chad wrote, you really do need two straps on the gas tank anyway.Take a sharp puddy knife and a hammer to pop those inserts, clean them up and re stick em! Not a better time than now.

Sanoman was out of town this weekend and plans for a ride next weekend!

Thanks Chuck for getting me off the hook this weekend!

We got back in about 4pm Sunday from snowshoe, west va.The skiing is awesome this time of year! Such good conditions.

l'm thru with everything but turf now.l was able to spend some time yesterday working on that area.Got the pads for the footholds installed and shaped. All the pieces are cut and ready to apply.

l also got a problem worked out on the handlepole.l'm using an xmetal pole and an aftermarket chin pad.l think the chin pad originated form chad, but l bought it off ebay. The problem was there was a 1/4 gap from the pad to the little arms that stick out from the sides.l ended up using two left over inserts(sorry brock!) to fill the gap.As you see from the pic it worked.

So if all goes well,l be trying it out this week sometime.l am sooo slow.....stunt hull 152.jpg stunt hull 157.jpg stunt hull 154.jpg stunt hull 153.jpg stunt hull 155.jpg

It isnt as simple as a putty knife! mine are really in there. I think Ill just place two more further up and have two parallel straps
