Ok,l went down to Fedex/Kinkos.47.7 lbs. That was hull, deck, hood, and liner.Only things on it was midshaft bearing and snows pump shoe!
You dont understand how happy i am to hear that!!! Phew.
As nice as 47.7lbs sounds, this great inconsistency between the different hulls is a bit strange, no?
I think the biggest inconsistency is that no one has weighed the same components. It may seem like this component and that component will weigh roughly the same and therefore balance each other out.
Very strong point.
This weekend l plan on installing those "Massive" (Bam!)motor mount plates, all the plumbing, scupper, exhaust pipe. Also the inserts for the gas tank and waterbox. And finishing the handlepole bracket. Then next week back to FedEx.
Alot of others are doing a good job of bashing Highroller. What good will it do at that level and what will it fix?
Bashing someone based on rumors and best guess is useless. Facts based on first hand knowledge is different. If you caught a VD from some girl, would you chalk it up to a bad decision or would you inform your friends not to go near her?
If you notice, I was tearing through my build at Mach 5 and then just stopped. I haven't posted the really bad stuff that my hull has wrong with it. I'm trying to handle my situation like an adult. If Dan is willing to take responsibility and make it right, I will quietly fix everything and post the final results in a very politically correct manner. If he's not willing to take responsibility, then I feel I have an obligation to friends on here to post the facts.
my stunt hull, top and bottom bonded togehter, some home-done reinforcement, engine bed plates, mid wall, but no hood was 71lbs..
