Yea, the lazy B has had us on some designated OT more often than I like, and with all the other crap that just gets in the way it is still awaiting paint. I would be back working on it today but I ended up with a nasty cough and cold last week also....just can't catch a break. In our first year we do not get any vacation, just 40 hrs of sick leave we have to manage very carefully. Don't get me wrong, I do love working at the factory, but they kinda own us for the first year, not unlike the military. Im using RRP spring bracket with OEM bolt and spring , i will use your idea in my Circus :wink:

thanks guys, i thought of mabe making them to sell, but would prob best be left up to someone with a cnc to produce a pinch bolt design with the saddle machined as one piece on the bolt. would be a nice option when buying x metal pinch bolts or complete pole assy's,would just need to have diffrent cross bar lengths to accommodate the diffrent handlepoles they would be used on,with the x metal pole and this setup it is a very tight fit on the breather tubes , pinches them down slightly, im not relying on them to feed air, as im running hood breather, there kinda small anyway. the spring takes priority for the riding i do..
