Custom/Hybrid Surfjetlouie memorial build

Fellow board member SurfjetLouie lost his fight with cancer on Thanksgiving day 2008.

I'm asking for help to preserve his memory, and do something nice to help his family with a college fund for his daughter. I'm hoping to get in touch with his family soon to set it up.

I'm donating a RN cnversion topdeck to start a build which will start shortly after the Daytona Freeride. Madscientist has already donated a SN hull for the conversion.

Now I'm asking everyone out there that would like to help to donate parts or a small amount of money to aid in the build.

My initial idea is to have a raffle at a freeride. I'm open to suggestions.
On the boat will be the names of all who contribute.

Now the work begins. I'll start a list of parts needed, and find a way to collect donations this week. Lets make this a great build to honor the memory of Louie.

i have a mold for the nose peice, i can make 1 if nobody has 1 to donate

I will donate the rest of the epoxy resin (uscomposites) which should be plenty for footholds and some other small stuff. I also have about 3/4 of a quart of 3lb foam left I will donate as well.
As far as parts I have:
-fuel pickup
-intermediate shaft rubber biscuit
-SN side bumpers (if needed)
-I have misc bolts. I should have what you need. LMK
I'm sure I have more but I will have to look.

*Just a suggestion. This build should have Louies footholds and Tubbies. That would be fitting.

I have a RN pole bracket and spring but no bolt. Let me know if you decide to go RN pole or SN pole.

I have a stock hood that has never been used off of a 97 superjet located in Spring Lake, Michigan (Grand Rapids area) if you want to pick it up.

I also have a few misc parts such as electronics, misc cables, and stock steering.

I also have a prop I could donate that is in pretty good shape. I have another that I could send to Dave at impros, and then have him forward it on to you. I am sure he would clean it up for free. Both props were pushed by my Lamey 780CC, so it might not be applicable to your build. Just let me know.

Things are really coming together quickly! Just to clarify this is a RN conversion deck going on the SN lower hull. We can used lots of SN parts, but pole and hood will need to be RN parts. I see a hood or two being offered, so we'll see what works best.
