So will this thread continue?
You did buy a hull sight unseen.......
Frickin' internet warriors.
I never said he was a rude, mean, or socially inept.
I never accused Mr Brah of personally performing the atrocities that have been committed against my ski.... I DID wish genital herpes of the eye upon whoever is responsible for ^^^^ some of the amazingly horrible work... but that's different.
Listen... there are a variety of factors at play. I'm dramatic... The drama is funny... and "the funny" kept me from truly having an issue with Mr Brah and the hull.... The ski provided great material for me to be dramatic about... I was aware that he didn't do the... dare I say 'work'...
But since Mr Brah wants to suddenly reveal himself... than fine. Total seriousness...
Never thought i'd use this gif in my thread....
If I had seen this hull in person I would have NEVER bought it. If he had described it accurately, I would have never bought it. If someone asked me if he was a good seller, I would say "Be real careful, cause this "super nice kid from Cali" (brah) will feign ignorance when he sells you a POS and claim he had no idea."
BTW...
Revealing yourself in the middle of the contest is an A+ USDA Choice 100% D-Brah move... Brah....
I guess you do win!!!!!!!
a. Yes
a1. Clearly you haven't read the thread.
Warriors would imply battling... Or at least a argument or conversation. Until MrBrah posted this morning, this has been a build thread, a place for me to vent, and post gifs.....
Do not judge lest ye be judged yourself! (Not even sure that applies... I just wanted to say it.)
I've followed it since it's inception. You have clearly been picking on aalamo throughout the whole thing, knowing full well that he was on here, and having childish banter such as a game to guess who it was. He was a 19 year old kid that was not the best experienced person when it came to ski's, he bought something that he thought was good, and then you wanted to buy it so he sold it to you. You have not denounced any of this, only replied back with stuff referencing the ignorance of the resin underneath the lip. Seeing as aalamo was not very experienced to skis' did it ever occur to you that maybe he thought it was part of the hull? Besides he only rode it for 45 min before it got ed up. so he probably touched the nose twice, maybe three times, and 2 out of those three times he was probably cursing because he stuck a piston. Don't go bashing on the guy because you bought a screwed up product. If you were really concerned about it you should have looked at it first, or at least gotten pictures. Was aalamo inexperienced, causing him to miss stuff that most experienced riders and wrenchers would notice? Yes he was. Should you bash him for this, or should you make it a learning experience for both of you? That's your decision. These Boards are what turn people off from this sport. It's always the good 'ol boys club, and any newbs are idiots and should be seen and not heard until they have 20+ years experience and can put an engine together, blindfolded, with two hands tied behind their back. From other boards that I have been on that have to deal with snowmobiles, boats, atv's and dirt bikes, boards that deal with pwc's are the most inflammatory. No idea why, but to the newcomer, it's not welcoming. You should think about that when you want the life of your sport to continue.
And I thought I was dramatic............
I like how people like you suddenly come out of the wood work on Page 50 of a build thread. Until the glass in the nose thing I hadn't said anything about Anthony Alamo for pages and pages and pages....
I announced the stupid contest (that failed...) and where were you then?
If you, or anyone thought I should give him a break why didn't you PM me or speak up before? The only person I recall suggesting a more passive approach is Wanderer... and I respect him for that a great deal.
I know the kind of people you're referring to, the scene killers, thread killers, that push away new people... "mock newbs" etc.... but maybe instead of judging me for what I post in this thread, maybe you should look through some of my other posts. I try and help as many people as I can, especially newcomers.... If I have information or experience on a subject I post up when I can, cause i know the sinking feeling when you post a thread about your ski running funny and NOBODY replies. Its like being on a lonely island, but there are people all around with life boats but they don't help.
While it may be a little conceded, I laugh a little inside when I think that if someone sees that I posted, they may click on the thread to see if I posted a funny gif.... call me arrogant, but I if it gets more exposure to someones problem than its worth it.
Seriously... look through my post history.... I have nothing to hide...
And while your at it... I kindly invite you to leave, and have sex with yourself.
You may post great advice, but that isn't stickied in a section. And in response to fondling myself, yet another sign of childish banter. And it's conceited....
