Super Jet Swapmeet's "Really?" RN build

LOL... Hallow???

Spending more time than I probably should on the tray, but I want it to be right.
I'm pretty happy with it so far.

Next step is to mount some aluminum plate on the gunwales for the Ricky Bobby footholds.

After that, make a pattern, start wetting out some Carbon and finishing the tray. I have about 3 weeks to get this thing rolling before the LSFR, not sure i'm gonna make it.

For a second there I thought you were going to install the Bob footholds. It seem that many of us Texans are glassing the Bob footholds into their skis...... I'm glad I'm building a full-length "Tunnel" foothold on my RN (Matt Smith's Footholds). Just strange to see all the skis with the same type of footholds!

Mine are going to be "Ricky Bobby" footholds. Similar in style to the bob holds but with a little Rickter flair.

I made it to the scrap yard today and got a nice piece of aluminum. Just need to cut two pieces to fit each gunwale. Probably gonna be a whoopin since its so thick, but once their cut to shape.... I'll epoxy them in... and while they're drying i'll be like....

Two problems... 1. This thread is like 50 pages right? Eventually i'm gonna run out of good gifs. 2. Due to recent emo BS on the X i've lost some of my enthusiasm for funny stories and gifs and such. Just not feeling it right now I guess.

I'm still gonna work and have updates! Just not sure how I feel about the fluff right now.

Swap is a man of many talents and interests.. Photography, Mini Trucks, Clapped Out SJ's, Covert Poster of Supermodel Centerfolds, Not to mention he is on the board of directors for The Chan of Backie.., He has big plans FOR EVERYTHING..I hope to see his tone and mood change when he goes on his much needed vacation. Maybe we will get some fresh new GIFs and "Really" Updates. Or maybe a Finished Hull...

I mean im not trying to put anyone down but it seems like he has spent more tip fraping about the backie chan then workin on what hes already got. I hope the BC works out for him and he is able to get off the computer and on the water.

the anticipation is often better that the reality of things. and holy $hit! i just looked at page one and the pix and i know this boat. chris & lisa from the stocton area had it with an RRP pole, sold it to isaac, who robbed the pole off and sold it to chris elmore who must have sold it to the kid that swapmeet bought it from. thats funny.:shocked:
