Ill get some this weekend after a few little fixes. A guy named Tyler bought my SXI from my photo, its got some MTB bars and stem on a aluminum pole so its sort of unique. You will see that ski out there a lot I usually run into him a few times a week along with a guy Travis on a X2

I'm Brandon btw feel free to approach me, if i see another fx1 ill be sure to say whatsup. I think we are going saturday and sunday. Ill go today if anyone else is.

yea i need to give jason my ski for a bit. after my last ride i cleared the water out and then it started acting funny on the throttle response. it was like bogging down if i went full throttle from idle but if i slowly played the throttle it would rev up when normally it is super responsive. its been all stock but i just put a flame arrestor on and that didnt do anything performance wise. i started it this morning and its 100% perfect. i definitely plan on getting within 10th place if i get to race in may haha. Wide open throttle for the win!

I had issues like that on the SXI ended up being a bad ground, or rather the drive rubbed a ground wire haha. But i coudlnt floor it while in water as i acted as grounding source or it would put and die

Sounds like water in the carb Robert...sad thing about the AM arrestors is they allow more water in when doing tricks. That is why I went back to stock. Pull the carb..clean it out.

Maybe try pulling your plugs and hit the start button for a bit with the ski on its side...might still be a little water in the motor. Should be good. I think we are riding Sunday early AM at either Sag or canyon...J and I haven't figured that out yet.

yea i was ready to sit this weekend out but i can make it happen. haha always a good time riding with you guys ill try and get there on time haha. i pulled the plugs opened the gap a tad and then she revs right up. i need a girdle kit and ill be able to install this high comp head i have. My fx gets like no water inside the engine compartment even after stabs and power subs and such. its soooo sealed i keep not putting a bilge on, but i just siliconed the tray in for the bilge and ill run my handle bar switch. i got the new thrust water bypass (2 of them) and the thrust bilge outlet. they look super slick i cant wait to install them haha.

beautiful did you b pipe it too? i just got back from APS and my motor came out fresh!!!! he did exactly what i asked plus decked the head surface and decked where the cylinder meets the cases. did exactly what lamar said to do with the cases i guess i should get an aluminum .020 spacer plate and she will RIPPPPP!

So you had him deck the cases? nice man..that is the way to go man. The spacer plate....for what? the top of the cylinder?

I didn't realize you were having all this done.

bottom. but i dont need one now that i just realized haha. i gave him the motor to do the bore and hone to 84.5mm and then open up the cases to accept the 760 sleeves for a reasonable $225..... when i got there he decked the surface .20 on the cases and he decked the head surface. im super lucky and im definitely grateful of steve. he also guided me on how to clean up the ports safely to get alittle better flow out of the motor. just pointed out the burrs and imperfections that can be touched up to make it that much better. Did i get lucky or what!!! if he had ported the intake and exhaust while he was at it i would have had to wake up from dreamland haha!

Literally made that old cylinder look brand new. Cleaned up every contact surface, my iPod sucks but in person it looks amazing. Jason remembers what they looked like, night and day!

Tore down the FX1 tonight - fixing the water intrusion issue - should be tight as a drum now, fingers crossed... just waiting for the sealant to dry.

Nice man lets hope it's not at the foothold area seeping in through the turf. It definitely needs a bilge for safety, I'm putting one on the fx tomorrow just for safety. Besides I have a nice new thrust bilge outlet that has been sitting since Christmas waiting haha.

Has some foam in it.
You can jam pool noodles sverywhere possible if you want though. That thing was a blast to ride in crazy conditions at Havasu, besides the pole sticking up when you fall off and it flip over. It is setup for freestyle.
