Come on back up here to Nashville and get behind the General Jackson paddle wheel riverboat. It makes a nice sawtooth wave that is sweet about 150' off the boat. You can pull some good stabs and I am sure that this mysterious FF could be tried about 300' from the boat where the waves become tall & sharp. I seem to remember last year when someone was too hung over to make the river after a night of fun while in town for the race:biggrin: .

There is one of these on the snake river and that wake is bad ass:headbang: :headbang:

OK, what about a high speed, over rotated sub? When you think about it we all know how to start a forward rotation. The way the first windsurfers did flatwater front flips was to plant the tip of the mast in the water at high speed and let momentum do the rest. What if you could plant the nose in with enough speed to flip you over? You'd land straight on your back, but the second half of a front flip is a piece of cake - it's the first half that's tough.

I think that if you could use a extreme down trim and pull a nasty over rotated fast sub attempt with the right wave ramp top, it could at least get the rotation going hard over. The only problem would be keeping the forward momentum going and enough height to complete the flip and land. I know that I have botched a sub and popped it up on flat water with too much speed and pulled well past 90 degrees. The landing sucked as I went plowing under with the ski basically on top of me. I think that it is doable given the right conditions, power, balls, etc.

Hey Mike, was that down on the river by me? Did you say a 550? Haven't seen that guy around.

Er... WTF is that?!! LOL!!

A little wave forming not breaking, followed by a big wave close to breaking you hit @ 30 mph while you're still on the way up and smacking the rideplate hard enough to flip ya :)

Unpossible?

Edit: I have no real trick skills but have accidentally had rideplate smacked by wierd shaped waves (after I considered myself airborne) causing me to land fairly large air flat (or even a bit nose down).
