Keefer, that pic is disgusting. I'm suprised the moderatos have not taken that down. I think I have seen something like that in a snuff film. You are one sick puppy!
Is this from a rorshock test?

A little wave forming not breaking, followed by a big wave close to breaking you hit @ 30 mph while you're still on the way up and smacking the rideplate hard enough to flip ya :)

Unpossible?

Edit: I have no real trick skills but have accidentally had rideplate smacked by wierd shaped waves (after I considered myself airborne) causing me to land fairly large air flat (or even a bit nose down).

wow i didnt even think about that. But last summer i had that happen to me. I attempted to jump a small wave that was immediatly followed by a bigger one. The second wave hit the back of my ski and i ended up face planting before i even realized what happend. maybe this is how the frontflip can be done?

Raidermike, im not making fun of you, i think you would be the man if you pulled this off. But seriously are your grammer/typing skills really that bad, or are you just wasted every time you post?
im not sure if its just me but some of your posts make absolutly no f***ing(self edit) sense.

That was the point of this post.
To play with to help the borness of winter and the other thing too.
Thanks Guys alot of your post was really funny.

HAHAHA that might have been the best post yet. this is all some funny ****. but i still think it would be cool to see! (someone smack there face into the water)

i think the BEST way to do it would be off the BACKSIDE of a wave....min of say 4-6??? come up the top, lean over the bars and use your holds to pull the azz back around.....

cant tell ya how many times ive ridden up the back of a wave just a LITTLe too far and nosed right over plunging into a whitewater inferno...

What about a big nose stab where you bring the rear end down first or land a little nose first?
Almost more like an ariel cartwheel for the ski, rather than a straight front flip. Looks cool though. Lenzi does stabs kinda like that.

WTF?!? I was trying to draw waves and a ski... u smokin crack? :)

Seriously, I just suck drawing stuff... was an attempt of a front flip diagram...

Ya,a guy tried it here at a freeride contest and got the short end of the stick... 17 stiches in his forehead...beware the pain!!!
so go 4 it anyway(imagine a 20 foot front flip...sweet)

i dont think a straight front flip can be done right now but maybe a barrel roll where you lean extremely forward and to either side may have the looks of a front flip, I could see that being done, some people ive seen barrel roll similar to that.

haha, nice

I've done a "front flip" on a 550, but not what is being referred to here. It's a old school trick that is technically a front flip exit. You stand on the rails or the hood, send the ski down like you would do a sub, but as you lean into the pole, you flip over the front of the ski. b/c the ski is going in at the angle it is, it will float backwards and you can safely land where the ski used to be. I tried it at Lake Anna last month, but wasn't too successful. It takes lots of balls, and good positioning so you may have balls left, haha. I hadn't done it since 2006 until I tried there. I tried twice that weekend. The first time I did a front flip, but landed beside the ski instead of infront of it. The second time, I face planted on top of the ski & got knocked out for few seconds. I'll try it again...... when I work up the nerve. :headbang:

In the mid 90's Douglas Carvalho used to do slightly over 1/2 front flip on flatwater. He was on an FX-1 at the time. Honestly without much amplitude (as no one had gorilla engines back then) it looked like a botched, over-rotated sub. He would roll the ski back over upright and ride off. Saw him do it several times and actually talked with him at World Finals in 1995 about it.

I had a chance to see this also. Me and douglas did a show in china and I saw him do that a couple times. Looked reallllly painfull but then again that guy has skills
