you will be seeing the flip up MotoX extensions like on Lustic's Matrix that is for sale next. Everybody will have to have them.

I would say more of a comfort thing over actual performance.

These bars are dirtbike carryovers, just like the snowmoblile guys installing vertical grips on their seadoos. They would be an asset if a large pad was in the empty space, its just a fashion fad.

I have the 50mm risers on mine and they feel awesome. I think it will be nice for my style riding, but I have not tested them yet. I think hood transitions will be smoother b/c when the pole is down I can sit up a little more and it takes weight off my forearms.

The bearing system is nice as well........ but IMO way over engineered.

who really cares if some people dont think they matter. Somebody just make a set for the x metal setup that works for a decent price and the rest of us will use them, and laugh at the "rest" of you.

problem ive seen is you cant get the clamp tight enough to keep the bars from pulling back and rotating down.
a huge PITA for something you cant even feel..

What do you mean, "they feel awesome"?
When I first read that I assumed you mean the handling characteristics of the ski when you ride it, but then I saw that you have not tested them yet.
