The Hits Keep coming it seems.

July 22nd. My Dad passes away.
Sept 22nd. Close friend Dies from Complications from Covid.
Sept 24th. Figure out I made a huge mistake on a bid....... Still waiting on outcome. We have had contract for 9 months.
Sept 29th. Find out my Mother In Law just got tested and is positive for Covid.
Sept 29th. Found out Father in Law has Cancer for the 3rd time........ But they did not call us, he at his 3rd Chemo when MIL got her results........... Bad Communication, but partly my wife also. not blaming them. But seriously, let some phuckers know.

Remote learning for Izzy is an absolute trainwreck. I wanted her to go back to school, Wife opposite. She has admitted it was a mistake. not rubbing it in, just having to deal with the mess..........

Oh, just left Dr, Got water in my ear at SFF and it would not come out. Turns out it was some ear wax that when I hit the water doing a roll off a cruiser, the pressure forced the wax up against eardrum. For 3 days I have had pressure in the ear............ Got it flushed out.

Phuck Corona
Phuck Cancer.
And the Hits keep coming............... Father in Law now tested Positive along with his Prostate Cancer. (Well, His PSA numbers got outside of margins so they started Chemo Back, not sure if it is full on cancer returned, but if the numbers climb it is coming if not caught).

So, for the first 9 weeks of school we did Remote for my Daughter. It was a licoriceing trainwreck. Until the last few days she was failing everything, she completely shut down. She has anxiety issues and remote learning was just to overwhelming for her. (I wanted her to go to school, felt it the best thing, Wife wanted to do Remote......... She admitted she was wrong.....) Last week was rough trying to get everything caught up. We mostly did get things caught up. Her grades all seem to be passing now. She started back to school on monday. For they most part things have gone ok. Trying to get into the rhythm. Yesterday she could not find the mask she likes. Wife gave her another. It is one that is hot, harder to breathe, does not fit right. She texted Anita to see if she could find the mask and bring it. Anita basically said suck it up....... She kept asking.......... Wife sent me screen shots of the post. I get it. Teach them a lesson so they will learn........ But these are not normal times. Izzy been having a rough time. I was texting with Anita and just said, please find it and run it up there. It sucks having a mask that is uncomfortable, I have delt with it. I just dont feel this was the case to be teaching tough love, if it had been something she was not required to have at school, sure........ But wearing mask for 7 hours is not normal. She was getting in shower, I decided to go get it and take it to the school. No big deal...... Today I get a text from a close friend of ours. Anita is at her house while while she is getting some kind of infusion. Anita goes to keep her company. I get a text from the friend. "Why did you take the mask to school?? You gave in!! Its not helping the situation"............... This just blew me away....... I wanted to respond "Who the fluck do you think you are to give me advise on raising my kid" (She does not have kids). I did respond, but not in an attack on her but it was not exactly friendly................. no response...... I am so flucking pissed off right now I cannot think straight...........

My only advice is to move all of this conversation OUT OF TEXT MESSAGES immediately. Anything with this much emotion involved cannot be properly dealt with via text messages.

Going through the same thing..... My son likes the distance learning but he is a kid that really needs to be in a classroom environment to stay focused and the district just announced the school board decided that they won't go back until January 1st at the soonest. At this point all we can do is make the best of a bad situation and his teacher has been great and very understanding and forgiving so I can't say enough good things about her.
As far as masks, it is all about finding one that is comfortable for you. I found some I like and have 10 and wash them and keep them handy. The excuse that you can't breathe in them is pure B.S. and it is just people complaining. How can I defend this? Well, I have asthma but don't let it slow me down and have done a week of hiking up to 9'500' in elevation with a mask on the entire time and an no point did I ever feel like I wasn't getting enough air. Find a mask that works for you, buy some extras and carry on with life.

We already have some more being made. Yes you can breathe, I have sinus issues and I do feel my breathing with a mask does hamper me some. Some days I am clear and no issues, others like today my left nostril is blocked. Not sure why you were hiking with a mask on. I only wear one when I go in public.

Had to get out of the house so took a drive of the South West and the trail to Delicate arch at Arches National Park was packed so masks were required. It was very "public" to say the least.

All the more reason to stay off Facebook, consider that 3 day ban a gift.
On a COVID related note I had it starting the tuesday before Thanksgiving. 103.2 fever for 3 days, fatigue and chills, lost taste and smell. The fever broke thanksgiving night and never came back but still have the fatigue and loss of taste and smell. I tested positive the Monday after thanksgiving along with my wife and son that had no symptoms and had to work from home for a week. I am 43 and healthy with not a single medical condition and for me personally it wasn't that major but the continuing fatigue and loss of taste and smell is an inconvenience more than anything so I really can't complain. Still have no clue how I got it since we haven't been around anybody and wear masks and wash hands so all I can figure is I picked it up at the grocery store. When the state health department did my phone interview from testing positive the lady said they are hearing more and more people with the same story as me, no known exposure and only place people have been is shopping. On the plus side when I was working from home for the week my son and I would walk over to my dad's on our lunch hour and say hi from the sidewalk, that was really nice. Stay safe.

This should have been 10 minutes to resolve, 3 hours later.....end up being outer bushing diameter 1/8” to big. Completely forgot the stock bracket has a recess to match the pole bushing on the inside. No amount of wrenching would resolve had to sand down the bushing. FML

I put a heater core in a 2018 Ram with a Cummins diesel yesterday, it had low heater temperature output. It paid 4.8hrs and I was in it 6.8 so I was now working quickly... it had weather tech floor mats, and I put them back in like any OE mat...

Thankfully I was driving when it went full throttle in the parking lot while in drive.
about pooped my pants, tried to put in neutral but hit reverse, now iam going backwards, hit drive again, tried to shut it off but can’t since iam in gear, so grabbed the floor mat and ripped it up off the floor and creeped my way out to a larger parking area to see what was going on.. lesson learned, install the front of these large mats first. Go under gas pedal and forward, then slide back and hook the clips in carpet...verify front is below gas pedal LoL..

It could have been a real bad day it happened in the shop and a unsuspecting porter or cashier was driving! Thanks God
