Thanks,I hit one outta the park every once in a while.
Whoa, whoa easy there big guy!

Just kidding, that does look great! :notworthy: I bet it's fun to get cloth to lay down nicely around those pump insert areas. Did you make the mold all in one lay, or do a few layers, dry, sand, fill, and do more?

The mold or the tunnel? the mold was just a bunch of layers of cloth then fairing compound then gelcoat, the tunnel was two layers of very heavy carbon fiber, one laid up after the other.:bump:

Still working on it, it should debut sometime this Summer, right now I am regelcoating the bottom , making a mold for a rideplate and gathering parts for a big pin 750 engine. This is just one of many irons I have in the fire. Also building a SN Superjet, an X2 flatdeck and another 300SX with Superjet drive train.

This thread brings back horrible nightmares for me. What a complete mess. I came close to giving up jet skis forever, after owning one of these BlunderJets.

I know I have one too. First ski I bought, took it to the lake and was treading water holding the handle pole in 5min. I should have let it go.. the bulkhead was completely cracked and filled up the ski so fast I couldn't get back to shore before is was titanicing. Oh and if you touched the metal par of the bars you got a nice shock in tune with the Rpms.

I am still gathering parts at this point, it costs a lot of money to build multiple skis at the same time lol.
