I'm not always politically correct but we do our home work and try to make the best parts possible and take great pride in our performance.
Keep in mind when you buy just the pipe from us your just buying one part to a puzzle and we can't make one pipe work best for every setup. So it's important to tune your boat to the pipe you have and utilize all the strengths in your parts combo.
Any one part not in sink and a great package can become a total Turd with just the smallest of mismatch.
The v2/v3 is the first pipe I have built on someone else engine.
And tested on several different types of engines before we came to the final design.
We gave up some peak horse power to make the pipe more tunable for a broader range of power plants.
Having a pipe that can move peak power almost 1k rpm up and down with just water changes is double the tuneability of any pipe on the market right now.

Looking at getting a v3. Do you guys know if they work good with xs motors? or do they set their motors up for more top end using PF? I have a ss865 with bpipe now.

No experience with XS, however you can move the power band wherever you want very easily by changing the jet in the spray bar. I have used anywhere from an 80-120 main jet and it makes a big difference as to where the power band is. In my experience 120 will move power all the way down low and dry it out to move the power up top. That's the nice thing about these pipes is you can move it around to your liking.

Looks like I'm going to order one tomorrow.. Guess I better learn how to tune. Tim I'm sure I'll be hitting you and blowsion up on tips.
Do I need to port match the manifold to the xs cylinder? Or should it be good to go?

Thanks.

No it should line up good. You should blend out the machine port profile edges though.

Going down a jet makes it run hotter going up makes it run cooler correct?

Tim is the man! I talked to him for a while and he gave me some pointers, and I forgot some of what he was sayin about jet sizes (and lots of background noise and my work :(

Is it bad to power coat the pipe? Or would it help hold a little more heat?
Technically speaking yes it will hold more heat. Reality is very minor.
But it will change the power slightly. Depending on how on the edge your setup is.
You may never notice the difference
Make sure they use good etching metal prep before you do or it won't stay on.
