TNT v2 free ride production pipe

I'm running a 115 jet on a slightly ported 61x/62t setup
Dual 46's
Vf3's
148 pump
Stock electronics

Ski pulls my arms off people that ride it don't believe it's a 701..

I have a Stock 62T with Dual 38's
V-Force 2's
148 Torrent Setback running a 9/15 Slim Blade w/ 5mil cutback
Stock electronics besides a MSD enhancer.

If I could I would go back to a 144 Mag. This Torrent Pump carries a ton of weight and I can actually feel it when riding. I honestly don't feel a big difference in the white wash opposed to the 44 Mag.

I'm running torrent pump in a SV1, had a 9-15 skat that was just a little to tall. Just pitched it down to a 8-14 i think it'll be real close, testing tommorow . Pumps heavy but I ride surf!!

Let me know how your testing goes. We have very similar setups and im curious if pitching it down will wake my ski up. I only ride surf myself.......but I can really feel this in my sv1

I was told to pitch it down towards a 6/12 or 7 something. Can't remember !

What size jet are most of you running? Took mine for a spin with the jet that came with it, and it's not hitting that hard. I know it has to just be some tuning.

A couple of them are saying 115. One other guy said he is using a 95. I don't know how big of a jet you can go with tho. I think the jet it comes with is '115'- fixed

OK I fixed it. So with a smaller jet your drying out the pipe and that would move the power up the rpm a little

I've gone from 80-130 on jets, it makes a difference that you can feel but if your ski is generally unresponsive then it's your tuning. The pipe jet is for fine tuning, the difference is noticeable as it shifts the powerband but it's not going to cause your ski fall on its face or instantly become snappy up top.

Make sure you have control of your waterbox as well. Water shouldn't be pouring in off idle, per Tim you want this to open around 4500. I'm seeing temps around 110 after the coupler and 120 at the box. I hope to get the pipe closer to 130 (external) as water temps rise.

Yeah My tuning is set from XS. I was just hoping this pipe would really wake up the motor. How are you guys setting up you FCV? Is there a tool or just blowing? I don't know how you tune it to open at an certain rpm.

You can set it to a certain psi with a pop off gauge or you can take the hose off and run the ski on the trailer and set it to open at a certain rpm with a tach

Why don't you tighten your fcv all the way down and get then pipe tuned first then fine tune it with the fvc

The thrust ti5 tank with the tnt waterbox in a rockered hull is much easier to take in and out, and strap down, than a superjet with a stock tank and b pipe. The clearance isn't all that bad. I just have a piece of turf by the flywheel cover and behind the tank so it doesn't rub on the pipe.

Thrust TI5 tank in a fr2
I did heat the one corner and made a little extra room so it didn't rub the pipe

So far I'm pretty impressed with this pipe. For a freeride I just threw on stock ignition with a stock flywheel for reference. That being said, the bottom end is currently about the same as my B pipe with a lightened flywheel setup. Truthfully, I wasn't real surprised since I'm running a huge pipe on a single carb 701 with stock timing. My current setup is not ideal at all. If I loosened up my prop some I'm sure it'd be better.
However... No matter what jet I've tried I'm this pipe, the mid to top is literally insane. I've had multiple people ride it and were very surprised at how hard it pulled. If you're cruising around half throttle and punch it, it yanks your arms quite a bit. You can tell it keeps pulling.
That being said, with the power it has now, even without a lightened flywheel, it's like learning to ride all over again. I go for a 180 hop to a flip and I'm at over 200 degrees. I can go up a setup wake at idle and hammer it and do a full 360 with decent height. No need to blip(I still like to blip it because the waterbox sounds awesome) the throttle either which is cool, the power is always there. No water ingestion issues after being tipped over multiple times.

Keep in mind, this is all on a 61x/61x single 44 170 psi setup.
This week I am adding total loss, and I am pretty confident that it's going to wake this pipe up an absolute ton more. If the bottom end becomes even close to the mid to top ill be super stoked, but overall I'm happy!
