I just switched from 48 novi's to 48 FS ad would like to know a starting point. How does one get in touch with Ed?

I google full spectrum racing carbs and call his number... Usually works best in the morning, 8am or so pacific time... Keep in mind you may have to call several times over a few days period to reach him

Solas 144 stator. 14/19 c15 prop

125 low 1 turn out
135 high 1 1/8 turn out

Real close. Still fine tuning pipe.
Love it!

We have jetting spec's for many applications. Full Spec's on a 964 was the very first setup done.
One of the things we need to promote is that our engines have tuning packages built around them. There are many combo's for any engine but we try to address the most common and the ones we feel will work best and make the most sense. We just don't build short blocks, OUR ENGINES COME WITH PACKAGE TUNING RECOMMENDATIONS.

I've just got a carbon XFS and want to do a few upgrades while I'm building it.

Just brought h2o 148 torrent pump and am thinking about fitting a RRP ninja pipe.

How many of you are running this pipe with a MSD enhancer?

Bit worried about melting Pistons as we cant retard the timing at the top end.

TPE Stroke – 964 SS
Compression – 180 psi, 93 octane

CARB(S) – FS 49s
Main Jet - 135 (1/2 out)
Pilot Jet - 125 (1 out)
Popoff – standard from Erik

PIPE
– PFP (dry)
ELECTRICS – HX3, 30 deg @ 1700 to 5500
PUMP – H20 148mm setback
PROP – Skat D75-20 11/17
NOZZLE – 85mm reduction nozzle, thrust aluminum steering nozzle
CONE - Short xscream pump cone

@westjon86 by chance have you checked your prop to a gauge? I bought a D75 10/18 for my 964 setup but its measuring 14/19 on a gauge and actually runs pretty good.
I plan on opening my nozzle to 86-87 but I still have the huge cone that comes with the H2O pumps. Other than that we have very similar setups.

No, don't have a gauge. I initially had ordered a 14/19 (also not measured) and it was terrible, way over propped. I consulted with @Jp79 and he had a similar setup and recommended the 11/17. The short cone made a big difference over the standard H20 cone.

Your set up you should contact TPE about but after riding a bunch of them and knowing Erik well, you will have a grat package there. Call Erik and hell talk you through all the settings. I will be running the exact same set up as you in about 3 weeks in a new build except Power Factor pipe

Runs on 91 pump gas, 180 flips plate to plate, loving this motor and I have a lot of room to grow on it as this is a pretty conservative setup.

Just wanted to add - went with the xscream short cone on the pump- weeeee!! what a difference that thing made on the low end!! Highly recommend it.
