Right on buddy, I really meant no disrespect and I look forward to trying it!!Addict, my setup is going in the demo. I'd love for you to try it. It's not pro tuned, I did the tuning. I think you will be surprised by what us "average" guys can build.
To me it's pointless demoing a flatwater boat with a 701. Even more pointless building one to own. The demo will have a dasa 1000 with the "works".
does this mean ppl can try to backflip on it I mean u already sank this motor anyways but by the way your putting it sounds like you can go all out on this demo ski n ride it like I stole it with the beast power your putting in it? I mean it just sounds like yall dont care if the demo gets beat since no ones going to want to putt around on a 1000cc? I mean if I rode it I sure as hell would want to see what a 1000cc can do since I cant afford one yet. JsTo me it's pointless demoing a flatwater boat with a 701. our sport would probably be bigger if there werent a bunch of knuckleheads spending their last penny on an AM hull just to throw their gutless SJ junk at it only to discover they cant do anything more on it than their SJ, so they throw in the towel and hang it up. if everybody wasnt chasing the pros, they would buy a 440, 550 , 650, 750 or whatever and just ride for fun.I agree with what your saying. But a lot of people can't afford the big power right away so your statement of saying "it's pointless" on building a 701 to own is a very bias statement. And if everyone had this same outlook as you our sport would be smaller then it already is.
