In an effort to get this thread back somewhere to it's original intent and provide a little bit of useful information, I called my issuing bank and spoke to them about filing a dispute. Turns out you can only issue a dispute within 60 days of payment. So... there appears to be no reasonable means by which I can get my $1,500 deposit back (I'm excluding contacting a lawyer, cause that will cost me more than the $1,500) and I guess now that I've gone public with this concern there is ZERO chance I'll ever see that hull. Steve seems to take it personal if you speak about his lack of communication or product delivery.
What really boggles my mind is that people on this site were ready to take up arms and destroy the person(s) who stole that BOB hull in Pismo, but then say those that chose to do business with Steve should have known better (because somehow we should have known he was underhanded). I guess it's just that people as a whole have become so accustom to having money stolen from them by our government, municipalities, IRS etc... It seems that people stealing money from you is far less of a crime, then stealing physical possessions (OK off my soap box).
