Trinity Composites Matrix Pro Hull

I went by the shop yesterday to talk about my future ski and check out the plug. I'm not trying to be a Trinity cheerleader, but the pics don't do it justice. I told Bobby to take a better pic of the front since his picture makes it look a bit square. It's not. That's an optical illusion you get when standing about 3 ft in front of it. I was thoroughly impressed with how it turned out. I didn't really see anything that made me think "I wouldn't have done it that way". Even though it has a new edge style, all the lines flow really well and it all looks well thought out. I can't wait to get one.

Heres a shot with maker on the lines so I can see what I'm doing during the rough out. I have a few things to dial in tomorrow before the first of a few heavy builds of primer. The sharper lines will start to soften as I go through the primer. These lines are not all about a look, they will also create a lot of added strength just in the shapes.

Its crazy. The hull is wild as well, really performed. Whats going to be even more insane is the first build. Now that might be out of this world and into space with that engine going in it. The whole thing is crazy.:shocked::shocked:

Hey Bobby what length of pole is recommended for this hull? I know that the RRP is adjustable but most of the people will just swap their pole over. I also understand that it is personal preference but just wondering what your used to and what length is on there.

Why is the rear top of the gunwhales squared off so sharp? Is it to keep with the design scheme of sharp angles or is it stronger? I just seems sharp and that it would be painfull to hit, and that is somewhere that would get hit repeatedly. My legs would get mangled pretty quick. The only thing I would change would be to round them off......of course I don't know crap about making hulls and only a little bit about riding them compared to the pros who are involved in this design process.
