When good threads go bad...

Look at Charlie, perfect example. He never changes. Yeah, he may come back and be a saint for a while, but then he goes back to old ways.

why should i change? for an internet forum? i am who i is. why should ANYONE change???

leave shyt like it is. it is what it is and the same crowd is still here. only the little bytches leave on their own.

the mods ban someone when they get out of hand, then let them back.

:dunno: seems to work just fine :dunno:

maybe the whiners need to go to the jesus site if they want sinless posting.

but, fuch them... they suck anyhow...

No, the site bans them, we just give the infractions. :pancake: I know you love it when we point that out...

(unless you're just a total douchebag/idiot that gets personal with me, then game on)

no, them moderators ban them. they give infractions knowing full well what the result will be.

you can hide behind the "site bans them" thing, but youre fooling nobody but yourself.

Charlie, in a sense Darin is correct. It is set up to auto ban if a person has x number infractions within a certain time period.

So, I could give you an infraction today and it may kick up the autoban. But 3 weeks from now could give you an infraction and if it had been "X" number of weeks/months since your last infraction, then you may just get another infraction. It is kinda like points on your drivers license. After a set time period the points drop off.

'in a sense', he 'may' be right.

but, if you use any sense at all, youd know that a mod can easily give 3 bans in a row (due to being moody, AHEM!) and then the user gets banned.

even if the 'auto ban' feature was not implemented on this site and mods manually banned people, the following argument could still be made by the mod:

"it wasnt me that banned you. i just clicked a button on the screen. the BB software actually banned your account".

semantics.

Are you blaming mods for banning people? :lmao:

Don't be an ass to people, and you won't get banned.
It's pretty simple. More than 99% of all users have never gotten banned here. :veryhappy:

well, yes. the mods DO ban people.

without moderation, nobody could get banned.

im not saying that getting banned for being an ass to people isnt deserved, but it takes someone with moderation powers to actually ban someone.

simple as that.
