Why don't I ever see dyno's?

swapmeet.. its deff not the end all be all,Et and Wdk and one other all have pipes and custom manifolds coming out for WF,cast and billet mani to take it up a level. The v2 may make more power somewhere over the pfp but not enough to back it up with a factual # apparently, its easy to talk it up and get more guys to sell their pfp than to prove it with a # that is min gain in one area and a loss in another. kevbo theory in this thread coming true.

Its really funny to watch the tpe clan typically rally in defense of any factual requests. The cronies fav reply always is "dude it just rips and makes more power" motor, pipes what ever the case. Really how informative i feel enlightened now.. your masterful knowledge astounds me .. really your rainbow is just taller. Do we need aptitude tests here to make tuning statements or ask a question. IF you read a book to gain knowledge in school to get a degree,is it not your knowledge cause you didnt write the book, you guys are good for a laugh ill give you that.

Tpe clan? I run a xs 1000. Tuned by P&P;)

Anyone that says they wouldnt like to see the power comparison chart to their current pipe just doesnt care or understand tuning cause they wont be doing it.

I find this statement sooooooo funny because the best tuners you know - my brother and Phil - could both care less about dyno graphs and only care about real world performance. Just like most cases, you freestyle boys are rehashing the same old arguements that have gone around the racing scene years ago. People used to get caught up on what pipe makes what hp, etc and half the time, it didn't matter who made what, it mattered who BUILT and TUNED what. Plus, someone who really knows how to play with a dyno can manipulate numbers that can't be matched in the real world. As TJ has mentioned to me on many occasions, he can make pipe A or motor B look fantastic on the dyno, but that doesn't mean $hit once you hit the water. It seems to me that some on here are far more interested in numbers and mumbo jumbo than they are actual real world results. As my brother has said MANY times before, you can't race dynos!

This thread may be about dynos, but some take any opportunity they get to start a pi$$ing contest over what agenda they have. There is a reason why so many people simply either stay away or don't post on this site. And that reason is, they simply don't want to deal with the jackwads that come out of the woodwork whenever possible.

Was just watching and listing to Daniel Martins engine in this video on xcream Facebook page. You can really see and hear how this could not be duplicated/measured on a Dyno. His engine revs out in 1 second.

Where do you think the word Brapppppp came from. The time it take an engine to go form 0 to Wide Open in as long as it takes to say "Brappppp", So, some motors go "Brap" that fast, while others may go "Brappppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppp". Depends on the motor!!!!!! Daniels realistically goes "Br" then he is already on his second revolution around the moon.

Yeah, his doesn't take long to rev out... but 90% of us don't have anything near what DM is running.

yes just please ignore from now on,unless we can get something positive out of it,I dont post negative at all, even when I should. I do not break the rules of the forum at all,But somehow it still gets hot and nasty as satans toe nails in here from the "team" if you follow a complement with a request for something other than more hype.
From the team? Most of us who run a TPE aren't part of a team, but yes we like the motor because it makes great power, and it's because Eric and his tuner Phil are genuinely some of the nicest guys in this sport.
You on the other hand are a class A narcissistic wanker. The reason people jump in is because you do crap like jump on someone's personal ski, and after being told specifically not to try a flip, you try to flip their ski, overextend the handle pole and crack the handle pole mount. You will be getting a bill for that from me.
You're online and in-person persona is the reason why people get all "hot and nasty as satans toe nails" when you jump on a thread.

I slept overnight on this reply and decided to post it... My apologies for derailing this thread.

Here, this ought to stir the pot up again.

Fixed it for ya!

Just reading through some of the comments in response to the posted dyno sheets and I'm betting ET is about 48 hours away from realizing why nobody else in the market releases dyno numbers. :)

For Posterity;

Lol. Once I saw the initial posts from ET I thought this exact thing. I don't see this swaying any engine builders tho. Unless an outside party and solid tuner had multiple engines to test with or without the help of the builders I can't see dyno #s meaning much. Always that level of doubt, not properly programmed dyno, and that in the water the motor may react differently. I have no experience in building or dynos but still interested in seeing what comes in the future now.

Got my popcorn. Its like the buzzard is back. Threads are about to get locked lol

Boyer, Since you allready got it all type up and I'm to lazy, would you put all 4 data sets one 1 graph making it easy to compare the 2 motors?

So much noise in the data! not sure if any analytical conclusions can even be hypothesized with that :(

Thanks for the tIme for data entry and graph post :)
