Brent, That ride plate might not be very easy to freeride with. It is going to make it wicked hard to kick the rear end out on the wave and in stabs or rolls.

Pete's right as always, get a cheap stocker off ebay and cut the big D in it.

I got my impeller today from impros, unfortunatly I have to send it back :banghead: :banghead: . The impeller needs to be cut back about 1/4 of an inch. I cant get the pump to line up with the mounting holes. I put the 15/20 solas back in it and it fit fine. Thats what i get for useing my SXR impeller. On a better note The STS throttle cable I got worked great and I got my coil in from JS solutions. I got all the electronics hooked up and will be starting it this weekend :Banane01: :Banane01: :Banane01: :Banane01: .

Did they forget to cut it back? Make sure the coupler is meshing between the motor and driveshaft or it might do the same thing to you. I just had an SXR impeller cut back 6mm to use with my TBM that I had modified to work in the X2 pump. Do you know what the pitch is stock on the SXR prop?

Oh hell, it is on now! lol

I wish I was going to Daytona so I could take a ride. Next year....

Let us know how it rides so I won't go out and buy an 800 just for the engine unless I need to. I still think I may go buy a used 750 ZXi though to rape the engine from it...... I know where I can get an 1100 ZXi cheap.....

Looks great Brent!

I just reread the thread and I like how you did the water box and outlet. My 95 X2 did have foam in the nose for the water box to set on. However, there were not any legs on it like my 93 X2 has. It had more of a flat plate welded to the bottom of it like a Jet Sports box. I had to hog out some of the foam when I did a patch job on the front of my 95 about 4 years ago to make it fit again.

Still though, you look like you got yours all set. I am truely jealous! I won't be building up my X2 for another year. Damn credit card company took me off my repayment program and jacked my montlhy minimum up. So it looks like it will be next winter. Oh well, it will be on then!
