A little product placement here. I found these truly one hand reusable ties. I use a Jacobs chuck from a burned up drill for hand scoring the carbon.

Up until now I have been running a coupling cover that I made quick and dirty when I did the Aquabot build. It was notched on the exhaust side for the sump so with the sump carb side now, it's a perfect time to make a longer one. I used the original half a coupling that I used for the short one in the Bot just extending it with a binder cover.

I also wanted to run a manifold for cooling so I made a mount for a 6 port manifold. Counter sunk holes that were filled with epoxy to act as "rivets".

Had to polish it before mounting. Used the countersunk hole for epoxy as a rivet for the hood ratchet nut plate pictured with it.

The manifold is 3/8 npt feeds on the ends and 1/4 npt for the ports. This let me run 1/2 barb x 3/8 npt feeders with 1/2 Tygon tubing feeding it. I made a tubing organizer from an even bigger piece of tubing that I wound up cutting with a wood blade. Don't waste your time with a razor knife or tubing cutters ! The cone stone worked better for reaming the sharp ID edge than the cone carbide.

This damn build thread is taking as long as the actual build. All my other build threads were posted in one marathon session. Anyway, onward.

I didn't use Tony's poured hood seal, I just used D gasket. Glued some sand paper onto a piece of it for a sanding block. Sealed the ends/joint with black 5200.

I'm running my O2T Zeel setup from my Bot/Phantom/898. Since I'm moving it to an unknown crank I did a spark test. Turned off the minus signal and just made sure it was firing where I was programming it to.

Drilled and tapped exhaust manifold for water injection. Pic is from the bottom looking up. That fitting is not to ever be seen again.

Once I had alignment straightened out one piece shim stacks were installed for one less wrestling match when pulling motor. It sure is a LONG way down to that coupler for aligning.
