Porting was always a pain because I was too cheap to buy the real nice porting bits and settled for other bits that took forever. I like that blue engine in the picture...looks nice.

the blue engine is a 650, but it is powder coated very well! The powder coating is very hard and has held up well. i just had the 650 ported and it has a lightend flywheel and a twist head with 32cc domes it should rock nutz for a 650. it will be forsale soon. it has a rebuilt 44 mikuni too.

Man I don't think I could wrench on a ski with you... My OCD would take over. Those intakes look gross and that customized mount is rusty already. Prime that bitch or something. :hitwithrock:

you talking about the bed plate or the ebox. the ebox is aluminum it just got wet when i was painting it. the bed plate we actully have two of those. dont worry it will all look good when its done. i am still in the making it fit/work stage not the final make it pretty and go.

and the intakes will look good. you should see the carbs right now... they are going in the parts washer tonight. like i said it will look good when i am done.

would a roundnose water box and gas tank fit in that hull? i'm thinking of doing the same thing but trying to run a yamaha b pipe in it.

There should be sufficient room if you remove the current tank and foam that the the stock kawi tank sits in.

I have the stuff to try that out. (not mine but between the 6 skis in Travis' Garage that stuff is sitting around.) I did get rid of the Cable fuel selector system and got a normal pickup system. It might be in one of the pics i posted

I havent made any progress, I am out of town this weekend and i need to sell more Kawi stuff. So please check my for sale thread if you need any 750 parts..

Tryed a Wave Raider/blaster FP setup today. That is what i need. The one i tried is a loaner so i still gotta find one but i cannot use the kawi chamber ( no mixing and matching) i need a complete blaster setup

can you post some pics when you get the pipe in? i was gonna try and run a regular b pipe but if the blaster/raider pipe fits it sounds like that's the easier way to go. i'm still a long ways from that point though so, i'll be watching your thread.

we will have the pipe in the weekend. the blaster pipe fits perfect we are just going to have to make a hose to go from the bottom of the chamber to the waterbox. jordan is going to carquest to look at radiator hoses on friday. i am sure he will post pics as soon as we get it all together.

Good luck with the radiator hoses. I tried one of those a while back and they aren't very fun to work with. Wonder what it would take to get a rubber hose bent like the stock hoses. Might even be able to buy a vehicle specific radiator hose with 1-2 bends that you need and then cut it and add pipe to make it fit properly.

Well the exhaust is in however the hose from the chamber to waterbox still needs some work. My order of all the misc. things i need didnt arrive in time for the weekend so i wasnt able to get the carbs done and in.

The exhaust hits the hood!!! I am gonna have to cut out the one front tube for sure and hopefully the chamber wont hit anywhere else.

I need carb gaskets can anybody get me some by wednesday?
