    The ES plugs have the correct reach for the ADA head. I run the resistor type (R) because you must with an Advent T3 ignition according to them. Anybody have any other thoughts about this or anything else? Also, I already tried disconnecting the Stop switch and it made no difference.

    A ground is a ground as far as I'm concerned. I just made my CDI ground on the same post as the stator to be sure of a good connection. I had a spare ground on my Advent hook up too because I disconnected the temp probe.

    Just last ride, somehow my ski ran over my own head hard. Luckily I was wearing my 661 helmet. I actually like the visor to block spray or when doing subs. I'd say give yourself a chance to get used to it and soon you'll feel naked without it.

    I have no personal experience with the Raider mounts but I remember reading somewhere here about guys choosing to use them in Superjets because they are a little more burly. I don't know it they were talking RN or SN if that matters but they were running them deliberately.

    Thanks for the replies. I don't have a red power wire going to the CDI directly. I have a red wire that goes to the regulator and start switch that reads 12.49V.

    Yes, that's all good. I tested the stator and it was within spec. When I tested the CDI I got totally different ohm readings than what the manual says. It's a Pro-Tec modded 6M6 CDI so I don't know if the specs for it are different than the 61X.

    impeller woes

    Actually you're on the right track with the candles. Google 'candling stuck studs' and see what I'm talking about. I've removed several impellers quite easily after getting wax in the threads with capillary action (like a copper sweat fitting). Good luck.
