from what i know being compatible for ethanol fuel has more top do with the materials your fuel system is made of i.e if there are rubber components in your fuel lines you shouldn't run ethanol fuels as the ethanol degrades the rubber causing fuel leaks at least thats how it works here inregards...
might be hard for you being winter their but go out, ride the ski and get your feet into a position that feels right which ever foot foward suits you then look down thats where "YOUR" straps should go. It all depends on your weight, height, posture, pole length, riding style etc etc

I have had good results on a chamber I painted with vht flame proof paint. Have been running the pipe for 3 months now and stiil looks good. The main thing is to make sure you bake it properly (when the wifes out) in an oven.

funny you should mention it I just put a new 500 gph rule in a new ski and kept blowing the fuse started at 5 and when it blew a 10amp rewired everything and still blowing fuses so I put an amp meter on the motor it self it was pulling 5 amps under no load it is being replaced under warranty...
rough figures for australia is 10% of the population surfs thats 2.5 million give or take i don't know if yamaha has even made that many sj's. Even 2% of your population is way more than that.

they do float eventually they don't come back up real quick though so hold on and they don't tow real well either, have a tendancy to turn upside down and submarine. any joy with ya motor?

I just hope it doesn't represent another company doin it tough in these hard economic times havin to do everything they can to survive. I have no idea if this is the case or not with Hydroturf, but if not the case yeah its a questionable move.
