9/15 good all around
10/16 good bottom end for surf
all my x2's are surf ridden only and I stick with 10/16's
Add a pump stuffer for even more hook. IMO
I've also ran a Coffman pipe for awhile and noticed that it lets a little more water run back into the cylinders than any other pipe I've had. Put a flow control valve before the stinger and that will dry the pipe out a little bit more too and keep the amount down in the chamber.
Yes, pull the exhaust manifold off and regasket it. I've had this happen to me. Buy new jug to manifold gaskets and put a light coat of coppercoat on them. Do the same for the manifold to head pipe gasket as well.
we do have it good in the winter months, but anymore if water temp is 65 or under my suit is on. Kinda weird because I'm from Delaware, just across the bay from u guys in jersey and have only been down here just over 10 years. I guess my blood has officially thinned.
Nice nosejob nick. Hopefully this warm weather will hold out. I don't much care for the cold as well; I think my wetsuit comes out before anybody else's every year...
I stuck around for another half an hour or so after you left and it didnt.....lol. We checked sunglow pier cam around 3 and it was all clear, so it eventually blew out.
we are gonna try again for this saturday at the daytona zone if anybodies interested. Last week was a bust due to a small craft warning, so the zone was closed.
