    Okay so I think that I've got it all figured out what I'm gonna order. Im gonna get 1/2 gal of 3:1 epoxy, 2 yards of 1708, 3 yards of 8.5, 3 yards of 10, 2lbs of 1/4" chopped mat, and some 404. Will the chopped mat even be nessecary if using the 404 tho?

    Yeah thats sounds good. The 5-6" strip of 1708 then a layer of 10 over that. What about around the pole mount? Would 10oz be enough or shall I get more 1708 and use that?

    Yeah I was still leaning towards glass, but I'm still curious about the CF too. I think that I'll stick with the 1708 and 8.5 then put one layer of 8.5 on the bottom of the hull as well.

    How hard would carbon be to work with tho? Ive heard its harder and I'm still a beginner fiberglasser, so I don't want to waste the money on the CF if its gonna be a lot harder.

    So I guess I might as well just do the 1708 and the 8.5 then. I was also thinking about putting a layer of the 8.5 on the bottom just to tie it all together, but i suppose that I could just paint the bottom also because it seems unessecary to put glass on the bottom of the hull.

    I'd say that I'm not too hardcore of one, but if I'm gonna do it, I might as well do it right the first time. I'm mostly a flatwater rider, but I do go to Lake Michigan every now and then.

So heres my question, I want to use the 8.5oz fiberglass for sure because I will dye it black to make it look like carbon fiber, and I was going to use the 1708 biaxle as well.     I'm doing the same thing as well. I filled mine with JB weld then im going to tap a hole on the pump for the fitting.

    Msd Coil

    The only reason that the boot cam off was because I was trying to pull the boot off the wire, but it ended up taking the terminal off with it. The coil is still fine and everything.

    My sparkplug boot came off on my stock coil, so would it be a better option to buy the whole msd coil and all, or just the new boots? Ive read that the msd coils are garbage so thats why im wondering.
