Yeah it is the 4272 setup only one pickup. It doesnt have the "opening" but i was thinking i could machine 180 deg from the other mag to countersink another mag.
I had this same issue. I found my R&D pipe finally got its famous crack. Exhaust fumes what leaking out of the crack and filling the engine compartment. I would run fine when it was above a idle, but i would have to keep giving it gas to keep it from dieing as i tried to get it back to the ramp.
Well throughout the thread I've got some good info. Just need to find a -4.3 superfreak hull to tryout in CA, I know Ski Clinic will let you try one out if you are interested in buying.
Thanks for all the info guys! Well still kicking around the choices, probably won't pick anything up until next winter. My first house closes next week and it puts a bit of a damper on the jet ski addiction
So from your experiance if i was to strip down one of my old race boats engine, pump, ect and move them into a superfreak what would a ballpark build cost be ontop of the hull cost around 6k be??? Would you go with the -4.3 carbon for the lake? Can I use one of my UMI hand poles or do I need one...
I love my old rn raceboat, so I like to open it up every now and then. Right now Ive got a Riva 760 with MSD TL and R&D pipe. Is that going to just barely open up the potential of the ski. I know its underpowered compaired to the 1000cc you guys are throwing in your superfreaks. How much of a...
Alright guys sorry if this has already been addressed. I didnt find anything in the search.
Im really interested in the input of the guys who have owned or rode both. Im trying to figure out what would be the best boat for me. I dont go to the surf, just the lake and like the ride for most of...
I had this same problem before I had the ski clinic sponsons put on. I was hoping they would cure the problem.
And I wish i could blame it on a few extra cold ones but no such luck there either.
So if the foam is soaked it can be salvaged by drilling a hole, draining it and using...
Well it is more unstable while riding. Feels like im riding my old 650sx instead of a rn. When im pushing down on the ski it is floating not being riden. Derrick at the ski clinic installed the tubbies, both are at the same height. One ski has blowsions tubbies 2 race editions and the other has...
As I stated above if you push down on the right side of the ski you can almost get it to roll over in the water without much effort. Trying the same thing on my other ski it just sinks down alittle bit. But float the same on the water just this one is much more tippy than the other.
No the hull hasn't been reinforced. It just appears the right side is much less boyent then the left. It tilts alittle to the right like most rn but it will roll that right side under much easier than my other.
I have two 96 RN's both setup almost identical. Extended hulls, tubbies, umi steering, same bars, ect. But one feels like I'm riding my old 650sx very unstable. It wants to tip over really easy. I noticed if I pushed on the back of the bad ski on the right side it would want to tip in the water...
