Speed-o-Meter on iphone is what I use, works perfectly. Sounds like you have lots more power in there as you dial it in, does it feel rich at the bottom end?

I run these plugs on my B1, brilliant kit, don't leak and drain really. New XFS comes with these for tray drains as standard. Main scupper is still flapped, but I might swap to one of these, nice link

Possibly interested depending on what's involved. Ski 1) Rickter XFS , 155 skat pump / thrust trim. Ski 2) Yamaha Wave Blaster 1 Mod with GP1200 motor on 144 pump.

Not sure the setback does anything in reality.. Setting the intake tract and everything else back in the drive line then yes (I have a Mod B1 hull that features this and it makes a large difference in hook up) but just using a longer shaft with the same pump tract.. I don't think it makes a jot...

I've had both Skat and Solas in 144, the Skat is defiantly better, but not 'that much' better to justify 3x times the price.. The build quality (in terms of bearing seating area) is much better on the Skat, I had to have my Solas modified to except the bearings easily enough to allow them to not...
