I'm sure prices for Superjets in Florida are much higher than they are here in Utah, but I see skis similar to this set-up and year for $800-$1100. Just a little feedback.
Ski is just to short and rockered the get a SJ mod chamber and waterbox to fit the way I wanted in the nose. Other option was moving the fuel tank forward and running a Blaster Mod chamber, but I got a good deal on a Power Factor so I figured I would go that route. Looks like your setting yours...
The plan was to have it on the water today but I wasn't happy with the way the B pipe fit in the hull so I'm waiting for a power factor pipe next week. Next weekend is the new ETA for completion.
Thanks. Yeah I'm going to run the long plate since most guys says its borderline impossible to ride with the short. I plan on at least trying the short plate and see for myself though. Just finishing the turf this weekend and wrapping up the small stuff and should be on the water next week. 48...
Got the pump and midshaft installed today and set the engine in for a test fit. Looks like my kart tank is hitting the stator cover so need to get a different one. Tossed the pole on as well. Getting close.
I'm not running pole breathers or a pole spring so unfortunately I can't say. From what I have seen I think the ATP breathers are the same size or marginally larger than the XMetal. I think you'll be just fine.
Figured before I slapped the engine in I would go with a fresh bore and Pro-X pistons. Got that assembled today and finally got the impeller shim I was waiting for so now I can install the pump, midshaft and engine. I did toss the pump in to check alignment and I was shocked to see it lined up...
