Kinda hard to see the misalignment in the pics but basically the chamber is pushed up by the nose rocker and inward at the bond line. You can see the small gap on the coupler where the chamber meets the manifold. Also you can see where I had to indent the tank to make it clear. Also showed how...
The combination of nose rocker and the bond line curving inward towards the nose doesn't allow the chamber to fit flush against the manifold. It functions and I haven't burned the coupler but it just doesn't fit the way it should. Because the chamber sits slightly up and inward I had to heat and...
I was running the lanyard shown in an attempt to simplify my setup. The lanyard switch was acting as the on/off for the TL and then I was running a single starter button. Less bulky on the handlebars than the OEM setup and eliminates the need to run the shifty mod with the OEM switch. Obviously...
Just got back from the lake again and I'm already feeling more comfortable. The more aggressively you ride the better it is. Definitively fun. Only problem I had today was my tether switch failing. Curious what you guys are running with total loss? I ran this cheap tether last year when I had...
Well managed to take out the Rok-R last night and it was a rude awakening. :) I think the ski was riding me more than I was riding it. Keep in mind this is my first AM hull and my last ski was a stock SN. Here is my initial feedback. The ski is extremely stable and responsive. It will jump right...
Really great feedback. Wasn't trying to knock the setback engine, it was just some feedback I received. Obviously I was misinformed. Glad to hear everyone is having good luck. Are you guys able to run stock superjet drive and midshafts? Makes me wish mine was setback so I had some more room in...
Yep, that's the setback engine right there. Mine is considerably further forward. Would be interesting to ride them back to back and see the difference.
It's my understanding that Jeff made some with the motor set back and some without. Mine is obviously not setback. From what I've heard the setback skis ride extremely nose high and mine is much better. On the downside it makes fitting the pipe and tank a nightmare.
Well the Power Factor pipe arrived so I tossed it in. Definitely a tight fit. The rocker doesn't allow it to fit perfectly flush against the manifold, but the previous owner of the hull assured me he didn't burn up any couplers, so fingers crossed. As you can see the water box is rear mounted...
It doesn't fit properly. The stinger hits the rocker in the nose. If your running the set back engine I think you would be fine, but not in mine. Sounds like the other ROK-R guys are running a blaster mod chamber if you don't want to run the PFP. I figured rather I'd rather just spend the money...
