I like it. I'm not a huge fan of the orange with the black though.

It is nice to have. When I first installed my pipe it clogged up with metal shavings and the heat sensor let me know before I noticed that no water was coming out. Now I check my pisser but it still is a nice safety net. Why remove it though? I'm curious.

No point in jumping right up to an 800 or 900cc engine when you have never ridden one before. Like everybody else has said, buy a modded SJ and go from there.

Alright, I was feeling this but wasn't sure at what point dual cooling would be necessary. Don't feel like trying to install another tube from the rear to the engine bay either so will likely keep single cooling. Thanks for the help.

As long as Yamaha keeps producing SJ's somewhere I'm happy. Insures replacement parts.. even though my ski is slowly becoming more and more a/m.

I'm not sure if its a 2012 or 2013, but usually they keep the same graphics for at least 2 years. Example: 2008 and 2009 have the same graphics. 2010 and 2011 have the same graphics. It would make sense if 2012 and 2013 keep the same BNG's.

Ski looks great man. Where did you get those pissers from? I want to get rid of my 90 degree pisser to something that fires out the side, something more noticeable while I'm riding.

Just do your research on here and go for it. We all were a little hesitant cutting into our ski the first time but it is well worth it and worth learning how to do it. Don't have someone else do it, do it yourself. Go buy the wamilton foothold and pre cut turf combo they have to make the turf...
