I have an 08 and don't have any trouble sliding it. If you keep the ski flat and turn a bit, it will slide right out. What is your quick steer setup? Is it actually adding throw? The 08+ SJ's have awful stock steering throw so it is a little harder with stock steering but still not that difficult.
