I would try another one if somebody other than waterdawg made a conversion pipe that was not the lay down style for it. I think I would have been better off hacking up a stock hull and OEM 66E pipe to make the motor fit.

I went out and snapped a couple pics but my computer isn't letting me upload them. they are in decent shape, no significant corrosion, one carb is missing the screws that hold it to the manifold.

I have some, minus jets, n/s, diaphragms and cover plates $40 shipped.

The point of the tubes is to keep the water that's coming in from getting sucked/splashed directly into the intake. I also think it's to muffle intake sound.

Hmm... I've never used a new gasket, I just slap on some lubriplate grease (super thick and heat resistant). So far so good.

LOL.... I do it sometimes when I'm packing a gas can or cooler in my tray so I can move further forward, or when I'm bored and cruising.

:ugh: :bs2: It surprises me to hear that coming from somebody who owned a REV, Mine had some issues that would prevent me from calling it "amazing" or anything other than "what else do you expect for the money".
